We are probably managing 35 percent of our orchard in order to get 15 percent of a crop.  There are many rows with a partial crop of peaches, but if we feel like there is a half bushel on the tree then we have decided to care for it.  Even if we break even on the tree, we know that we need every peach out there to supply the stand.  One block of trees looks real good and there are several varieties on this location including Contender, Cresthaven, Ruston Red, Carolina Gold, China Pearl, and Georgia Belle.  The apples have a normal crop with the exception of Arkansas Black which are very light.  Check back later for more farm news.
