This week we’ve been blessed with more rain. This has caused some varieties to ripen faster than I would like. This week we will begin to pick Cresthaven, Early Augustprince, China Pearl, and Sunprince. These are all good varieties. I walked the Georgia Belles today and there seems to be plenty left for those who prefer to pick their own. The supply of peaches will be good for the next two weeks if we don’ get too much rain. The late August varieties were hurt by the freeze so our supply could be light for a short week to ten days at that time. We will also be picking Ozark Gold apples this week along with some Galas which are beginning to ripen. We are also picking some nice watermelons which are available at the stand. Stop by and see us. Check back next week for more farm news.
